Condition Check & Method Plan

We inspect the stack, flue, ties, and surrounding roof/attic areas to choose the safest approach (top-down hand dismantle or small mechanical assist). Keep-safe zones and access routes are marked.

Access & Safeguards

Perimeter scaffolding or roof staging is installed with fall-protection systems. Interior areas below are sealed; debris chutes and collection bins are set to keep the site orderly and neighbors unaffected.

Dismantling Sequence

Bricks/blocks are removed from the top down, with the flue capped and sections carefully lowered or bagged. Interior chase materials are dismantled last to avoid dust migration. Daily checks maintain stability and cleanliness.

Make-Safe, Patching & Cleanup

We remove or lower the stack to the agreed height, then make-safe: roof deck infill, underlayment, and temporary weatherproofing; interior chase is sealed. Masonry and metal are recycled where possible; a clean, ready-for-roofer finish is handed over.
